to all my stalkers in NYC. i hope you got a good dumpster shot of me yesterday. was there pretty much all day and night.
was supposed to go to a bell hollow and funeral crashers show but some wires got crossed. we had brought a young 18 year old girl who was soo excited to see these guys and due to the fact that no one posted anything about it being a 21+ show she was stopped at the door. now we could have just given her 20 bucks and told her to find something to do. but we acted like the dumb responsible idiots and decided to just find something else to do. but we did talk to phil(singer of the funeral crashers) and he tried what he could to get her in but to no avail. but hell he gave me a free cd and a sticker so i can't complain.
so we walked from bowery st. in lower east village all the way up to Fika Cafe on 58th st in midtown next to central park. stopped at st. marks place on our way up. Kim's music and movie store and Trash clothing and other punk paraphernalia are always great and welcome stops. LOTS AND LOTS of walking.
then walked around and watched the tourists get clogged up on every corner. even saw NYC's finest in action swarming on a group of "gangsta's", arresting a few of them outside of virgin mobile store. then delved into the smorgasbord that is the hot dog stand. those chicken shickabobs are soooo good. one of the few things better are the amazing tits all over the place in that damn town.
so we headed back down to the lower east via subway and HOLY SHIT was it hot. i think i lost about 20 pounds of water weight down there. and we got tricked by the L train and had to get back on. but we did manage to find out way back. then there was the uneventful 4-5 hour car ride home. but all in all it was a fun get away from the 24 hour work thats been going on lately.
