yayyyyyyy. one of my work checks showed up so i don't have to sell any more books i like in order to eat.
the girl and i are going to a movie or two (going the dumb-ish comedy route) and then doing chinese food for t'giving dinner!!! this takes a lot of expectations out of the event; those orhpan t'giving meals are such a mixed-bag you know?
and i guess i'm not super close to my family in town (not invitedd to hang with them) which makes me a little sad but the last few months it's totally my fault as i made the grave error of trying to kindly tell my nephew's moms how to parent which is never anything you should do no matter how much they're fucking up the kid in front of you plus i said it while mad and defensive so it didn't come out nicely...
anyway, yeah we could b with friends and/ or family, but i'm really psyched for us to just be alone together and doing fun stuff sort of in the vein of jews on x-mas.
