My rant about the fluffication of SG, in the friends/followers section of the groups or your profile, can it be smaller pics and more content? When I go to my friends tab, I want to see almost all of them in one shot. Not the Load More button and wait for 5 or 6 more to load. So much of this new site looks big and clunky, also deep. Not, we connected on a deep emotional level, but difficult to understand or depth of clicking to get to where you want to go. If I'm on a slow connection, I shouldn't have to wait for the entire site/page to load before I can click on the LogIn button... Then click on groups... Then click on My Groups... Then scroll down and find the group I admin and click on that. More like, You go to the site, on the top bar the first thing to load is the user name and password blank fields so you fill in and hit enter. Then like now on the top bar you click on your small pic or user name. It opens to your/user's everything tab that truly shows everything. Yes, it's nice when you find someone and click on their pict and it takes you to a page and the first thing you see is a big O picture of them, But when it's your profile your looking at, you should be directed to the admin view of the profile, smaller or no pict and a list of the clickable options you need. Not the store front but the back behind the desk info. list of quick links, maybe in the set up the user can pick and choose:
*User name
*link to followers and number count
* link to who I follow and number count or combine the two to show left, who follows you... Right, Who you follow... Middle who both follows you and you follow. If they were stack on each other instead of columned then you could have a next page on each grouping so you don't have to fill as much at a time, small picture for the members so more fit at a time.
*link to groups I admin
*basic links to blog, pictures, My groups and such
*maybe even a random/most recent button, for Blogs, Groups, Articles, Picts or Videos. In the spirit of chatroulette without all the dick picts.
I know what someone might say, well there is the Home button, click that and it has most of what you want. Notice I said most, because a great deal of people don't know what it does, they assume only and may have only stumbled on it a time or two before. But If I click home it should go to the SG front page not my admin profile. And, we should be able to edit what is shown in the preferences. Like I said before, it is just too deep. Between the color changes, depth and use of larger then life buttons, The site is fluffy and clunky, My Yahoo did the same thing. I rarely use it now. This site should be sleek and sexy.
