My awesome co-worker/ roller derby mate/ friend - took pics of Elea and I today =) It was lovely, absolutely lovely. I love that SG is like a giant sorority (and I mean that in the best way possible). When you meet another pinkie, its an immediate bond, and if you get to know them and you really get along... its a lasting relationship and I love that. Oh yay =]
I was cat sitting over the weekend. I was alone in a big house, watching a movie to keep the kitties company and... I heard someone walking on the other side of this nipple height ledge (dividing the living room and dining room - I was in the living room). I heard the loud clunking of a shoe, each foot, clunk clunk clunk, walking only feet from me, on the other side of the ledge. I was supposed to be alone. Within the next few seconds I almost had a heart attack. clunk, then the creaking of the wood floors, clunk creek, clunk creek, clunk creek! Oh my lord, there is someone in this house, how do I get out?! The stupid lock on the front door is a bitch and take several shakes to open... they must know I am here because the t.v. is on and the lights are on....... can I escape? Should I try? Clunk creek, clunk creeeeek. I stood up, hoping to make it to the front door before the intruder caught me. Then, I saw it. I saw one of the kitties thumping her paws into the hallow kittie tower and then the creaking of the nail scrathing into the tower.
