Well, the first set of photos seem to be well received, so I thought I would bring some other work online.

Sorry if this seems all about ME ME ME . . . . but then, I guess thats what this place is all about - and I mean that in the best possible way.

I have used Photoshop for a number of years in my work, but it was always the basics, sizing, adjusting contrast and color, cropping . . . you know, the boring stuff.

Then, several years ago, I discovered an online photoshop contest. It was set up to where a new source photo was posted each morning, such as:


which participants would download to their computers and do . . . . er . . . . "stuff" to. An example would be:

I competed for a couple of years which led me back to doing my own photography for imagery to use in this "chopping" as it is called. And that led me back to some serious shooting after over a decade of being away from it. This, in turn, led me to another photo site and JEllen and directly here.

So that's the whole story.

If you would like me to shut the fuck up you can also tell me that, but its my option on the final decision.

All in all things, artistically speaking, are now becoming very satisfying for me. I am able to indulge myself in areas where my skill sets are useful and am embarking on a project I have wanted to work on for decades, but my talent and technology were not developed to the point where I felt I could pull it off. The technology is here now, and as to my talent . . . . . we shall just have to see.
