Answer to Question- Why a skirt? Well I tried one on that was just lying around an I thought it looked f**kin good so now I jsut need an appropriate place to wear it out! I've thought about wearing it to my club but I get a bit carried away sometimes when I'm DJing an I'm not sure a skirt is really DJ wear?
Anyways, had a good weekend, Friday at the club went well (I really would love to do an SG hook-up thing there, if anyone is into it or has any thoughts on it let me know)
Saturday I went to good old Camden Town to do a bit of shopping, I found a couple of lovely t-shirts but the M was too big an the S was too small, so what f**kin size does that make me???
Saturday evening some friends an I had a benefit gig in Hendon for my club partner MOO who died recentley, I was more than a little aprehensive as the idea was for me to sing live with a band-no problem I hear you cry-well I had never met 3 of the 4 other members an I had no idea what they wanted me to sing but my fears were unfounded as the whole nite went really well an plenty of cash was raised for the Heart Foundation an for a headstone for Stuart.
Stuart's family were amazed at the turn out of people who wanted to come an party in honour of our lost friend an were quite emotional by the end of the evening! It was kinda strange circumstances but everyone had a great time! The highlight for me was my triumphant belting out of T-Rex's 20th century boy, thats how I remember it anyways
Sunday was the Brick Lane curry festival, top day!
Went to the football last nite an my team got a 4-0 win so I'm happy!
Going to the Dog's place tomorrow to get the new design for the club flyer sorted
life's good!
