at the computer.....again
Scotland was f**king awesome!
It was like 15'c all weekend an the sun was out the whole time! Was so great to see all my friends up there, was up so early on Friday morning, earlier than I get up for work but I don't mind getting up early when it's for something exciting, took the tube the short ride from Hammersmith to Heathrow an checked in no worries! Sat about for a bit then on the plane! Good flight an pretty clear morning so you could just make out the pennine mountains as we flew right up the middle of england. Landed at 10am an my friend picked us up an took us to his place, he had to go back to work but we had a bit of a rest then headed out into town. I managed to buy some new jeans which I was well happy about. Friday afternoon was spent rounding up the troops for the evening an after a few beers at my friends place we headed to a bar called 'variety' was pretty good but it doesn't really matter where you are when you are surrounded by friends! We got kicked out of there at closing time an invited everyone back to my mates place for after party! Drunk well into the early hours but felt amazingly good on saturday morning!
Saturday was spent taking a drive out to Loch Lomond national park, I got some great photo's of the amazing scenery an will post them up soon! It's so cool that you only need to drive for like 45 minutes out of Glasgow an you're in the wilderness, the mountains an lochs are really beautiful.
After a lovely dinner of vegetarian fajitas we went out to bar called 'the lab' an drunk cocktails out of test tubes, I felt a bit silly drinking from a test tube but what the f**k I was on holiday so it was allowed! Had the inevitable after party again an woke up sunday morning with a bruised jaw an large bump on my head
There was a huge football match on sunday at 12.30 with the 2 best teams in Scotland who are both from Glasgow playing to decide who won the championship so it was all round to the pub to watch that! Despite the best intentions to head into town after the game for some final shopping an sight seeing before the flight home we sat in the pub until it was perilisly close to our departure time, we picked up out bags from my mayes place, said our teary goodbyes an got the cab to the airport, I was very drunk indeed an was not in the best state to travel but Sipu looked after me an after a nice sleep on the plane we finally rolled back into Hammersmith at 11.30pm!! So today I'm a very tired boy but a happy boy cos I had such a great weekend!

I love your idea about giving all the kids A+! Don't know what my boss would think about it though... It would certainly make my life easier, that's for sure! I like to think that I'm not too strict anyway, but my kids would probably tell you differently.

Its begining to look like things are picking up
