Hi, I'm not so new but I'm a whole new person. I go to UC Davis and I want to meet rad people that are passionate about.....well something, as long as they dig it hard!
Don't worry, I won't "hate." Actually, I was undecided between Clinton, Obama and Edwards, up until the primary here in IL. Edwards dropped and I went for Obama 'cause he's been a positive force here in IL, and Hillary just struck me as status quo. I campaigned for Bill in '92 and '96, and enjoyed the Clinton years, but think how much more could have gotten done if the Clintons weren't so scandal ridden... some of that left a bad taste and would linger into her presidency. I also don't like her tactics right now, she's being too divisive and her negative campaign reminds me of the one Bush ran against McCain in 2000.
As for a dream ticket... given Clinton's current posture, I have to believe it's simply an attempt to draw some folks, who like but haven't decided between both candidates, into her camp, this way they think/feel there getting the best of both words. Also, will bridges have been so burnt that a dream ticket would not be possible? But say she won the Dem. nomination AND was sincere about Obama as VP, it may mend some fences and we could go into the general election as a big happy Dem. Party.
