Hi all my fellow SG peeps.
It's been a while since I last posted on SG and I'm back.
In the past few months I have been battling to hand in my proposal at my university and increase my research knowledge base pertaining to my career as a psychological research consultant. I am under a lot of pressure currently as I am trying to build up my career portfolio so that I can start applying for a job next year in my field, so far it has been quite a challenge, let me tell you.
Beside the job search, I have been super busy modelling part time, although with more fruitful results at least (; Here is some of my latest work, and I know ben_b will be very pleased <3
Besides the modelling it was my birthday on the 13 June, although we decided to keep it calm and low profile (; This year I took the time to contemplate life success! I now know who I really am, JUST KIDDING lol (: We initially planned to go camping low maintenance in the bush outside of town, where I could spend the night gazing at the stars, listen to the silence and just relax taking in the fresh air but that had to be cancelled. I got an Albino King Snake from Louis for my birthday, his name is Jim (as in Jim Morrison, he called himself the King snake). I'm absolutely in love with him, one of the most gentle creatures I have ever had as a pet, except when he's eating of course (; but wow what a beauty and he's just such a cutie, I love him to bits, take him out into the sunny garden each day to take in a breath of fresh air. He loves it.
I also got a Heineken beer keg from my friends. As I always say when people ask me what my perfect heavan would look like, it would consist of bitches, beer and sausages (: haaa.... wouldn't that be something.
We also got a new kitten to our addition of kids, our tenant found her in the freezer at work, all cold and hungry. We called her Dr Harlequin as the one side of her body is yellow and the other side brown and she is really the feistiest creature I have ever known. When we pick her up or talk to her she talks back with some growls and screams, she is really vocal I've never seen anything like it (: For now here is a vague image of Dr Harley and some images of Jimmy.
Some nude tanning in my back garden (: lol, I've been trying to get some color for when the summer is here plus the sun just gives me so much energy and makes me feel happier and more alive in general.
Every day and every moment is in our hands, we decide to make it a positive experience or not, that is my daily mission now, to turn around that, which is negative into something more positive and exciting. Life is supposed to be a joyride isn't it, well if anyone wishes to continue this philosophical discussion, inbox me. I am indeed feeling exceptionally philosophical this morning.
I do hope that everyone is still well and healthy and happy. If there is anyone in the Pretoria/Johannesburg area that would like to accompany me to see one of my favorite local artists, Koos Kombuis this coming Thursday night, it's actually tomorrow at Cafe' Barcelona, please msg me. I'm up for some fun times <3 this weekend.
