Hi guys.
As promised here are some pics on my self sustainable garden in progress
My Lemon tree and Grenadilla bush
My back garden which I am busy transforming into a rain forest. I already planted vegetables and herbs. This area used to be covered by red cement only when we moved in
One of my compost crates (sorry Huawei for using your name)
One of my Strawberry bushes and lots of baby Tomato plants which I will be planting into the soil soon. If anyone knows what the big green herb is on the right, please let me know as I am currently a herb vigilante and still need to learn loads about growing them lol!
My Dill and Catnip growing rapidly each day (that is if the cats are not occupying it lol (: 0 although I've planted Catnip all over our garden for their convenience
My Spinach of which I have harvested most of it allready and my other compost crate
Evoila my Butternuts which I have not yet found a solution for, they take up more space than you can ever imagine. Oh by the way underneath the Butternuts my Onions, Tomatoes and Potatoes are trying to grow but the Butternut seems to have overpowered them and on the left which is not visible in this pic I have 4 medium Green/Red Pepper bushes
The plant surrounded by plastic netting used to be my very rapid and healthy growing Brussel Sprouts but the neighbor's rabbit decided to make a proper meal out of the whole bush. They were really my favourite veg RIP
My struggling Peas. Reason why, I experimented by sowing the seeds in off season to see if they would grow and look at them they're doing better than I expected
My Lazy Housewife Beans which were harvested although I ate most of them whilst gardening so they never even reached the kitchen ha ha (: Also the bush with the white flowers is my Sweet Rocket
My ever so growing Orchid collection. The goal is to one day have the biggest orchid collection in our country
The result of the rabbit eating my Brussel Sprouts. Such a sad picture indeed
I wasn't able to take a clear pic but these are my Australian Spined Stick Bugs that hatched in Dec 2013. Boy do they grow fast and they eat a tonne of Eucalyptus and Rose leaves the little critters but I love them
Again my Stick bugs. On the left the hatching flexarium, on the right the bug housing unit
Two of my stick bugs again so sorry about the pic quality
