wow... i know i don't have much of a fan base here, but you guys were seriously lacking on the poetry front...all i got was some lovecraft and what i believe was some homegrown from big d.
i'm beginning to see just how much i'm socially lacking.
but at the same time, think that perhaps i should maintain my avoidance of human contact a bit longer.

We played at war with pretty things.
Chrysanthemums,
catterpillars,
cascades of champagne mangroves.
Gunpowder, tame and parti-coloured
boom/pop/whistled-
heard 'round our TVs.
We set free fire flies one night,
for all the world to see,
to run and glory with sparklers,
down all the alls of power,
around the tick of time.
Simple, happy children
building castles in the air
of smoke and thunder,
from which to rule the world.
