I have a ton of experience with R50 and R69S (though you seem to have an R69US). I have a thing for the R50/5 personally. I'm currently building an R75/5 with a disc brake in the front. It's the first 'non-stock' old beemer I've had but after 15+ years on these things I believe it's a vast and worthy improvement... we'll see...Im also debating putting an R50 final drive on because I frequently go off roading on it but we'll see. I can always swap it back if I don't like it I guess...
