Did my tax return and fuck me I'm getting a fair chunk of money back. It's a nice suprise because before last year I was owing more and more each time taxes rolled around (to the point I owed $1100 in 2003). This'll help with the move at the end of March for sure.
Speaking of which I have discovered the difficulty of finding a place that takes pets. Right now I see two options; the dog goes or Chuck and I share a bedroom. It's win win either way for me but she might not go for either suggestion so I guess I'll keep looking. Going to go to a homefinder company tommorow before Aikido. Hopefully they can help us out. It would be great to have a list of places before I talk to Chuck again on Wednsday.
Fixed up the little problems with the mix on Saturday night so I am finished untill the summer. Angelo mentioned to me that the bass player Kevin wasn't happy and thought it could be better but we both decided to ignore his comments. He's the kind of guy who feels he always has to have an opinion about something and he was the only person who heard the songs who had a problem with them. I hate that kind of stuff because it's got nothing to do with the songs but more to do with his ego and need to sound like he's an expert. I'm going to tell him that I can't do any better (A lie. I could but the law of diminishing returns is in full effect now) and he's going to have to mix it himself. Be interesting to see if he takes me up on the offer and what he comes up with. His biggest complaint is that the bass guitar isn't loud enough. Not suprising. .
