Went and saw "Quite Ugly One Morning" by Sam Miller last night at the Independent Film Festival we've got going on in town. I went with Kristin (who I've been spending alot of time with lately 
) and totally enjoyed it. If it ever get's released on DVD I'm definitely going to watch it again.
Before that I hit the local electronics giant and crunched some numbers regarding what it's going to cost me for the computer I want.We got up to $2000 without a monitor but that's includes me paying them to install all the upgrades I want. I'd take a crack at putting in the extras myself but last time I tried something like that I ended up destroying the computer. To be fair I was totally hammered when I tried to play techie but all the computernesse is not something I'm familiar with. I may talk to the man who upgraded my parents computer. He works for a bottle of medium priced wine.
Off for a haircut this morning. Lemonkid's new do made me realise how shaggy I'm getting and I don't do shaggy. Think I'm going to keep the length but clean it up a bit. Then off for yet more mixing at Angelo's. (Weeeeeeeee)

The weekend's alright: I have a paperdue monday that I'm in a mad dash to finish, but I'm finding time to "relax".
Nice to haer you're finding out about the equipment - bloody expensive, though. The only times I ever try to play techie is when I'm incapacitated... Not a good call!
