A somewhat disappointing week with all sorts of minor financial piss off's
The Federal Government withheld my GST rebate because I had owed the Provincial Government money for Medicare payments. This is after I had already straightend the matter out. It seems that someone at the Provincial level "forgot" to pass the message on. So now I have to wait for 6-8 weeks for the province to reimburse me. Guess taxes aren't enough to pay for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
It also turns out that my extended health insurance at my work only covers up to $50 a year for perscription drugs with a $50 deductible....well...you do the math. I can think of a better way to spend the $10 a month I'm paying for the coverage. Lesson to be learned, read the policy!!!! My bad but stil...l

Spent Sat night up at Lauree and Angelo's. First time I'd been up there since they had to put their dog down. Pretty weird not having Natisha around who I'd known since she was a little puppy. She was the most annoying, needy and neurotic German Shepard in the world but I'm really sad she's gone.
