Went and saw the opera "Rigaletto" last night. One of the benifits of taking piano lessons where I do is the opportunity to purchase tickets for the dress rehersals. Although there were still a few things to work out in the production, mostly stage and set details, $8 is real deal when compared to $30 for a ticket during the actual run of the show. Added bonus....cute girl beside me with whom I spent my time talking during the intermission.
Been reading "The Collapse of Globalism: And the Reinvention of the World " by John Ralston Saul. It's nice to find a writer who shares my worldview and is far more articulate than I am at explaining it. What is really interesting is that the book adds a different perspective to the rising costs of oil...Iraq and now Iran aren't fundamental reasons.
Anyways, enough social issues.....hope everyone has a great day.
