Went and saw Motley Crue play last night. Absolutley ridiculous show. Loved every minute of it though. Never was a fan of the band growing up but I still knew all the songs and even though they'll never be great musicians somehow they make their mediocrity work. A big thanks to Angelo for the free ticket.
Speaking of whom, re-recorded his guitar for a song on Saturday with some big differences in terms of microphone placement. He didn't want to, but as I pointed out, time is the biggest assest his band has in terms of recording so it would be stupid not to use it. Once we redid the guitar part the difference was so big that Angelo promised to hold off on all future recording untill I'm there to oversee it. Which makes me a lot happier because my name is going to be on the album and I'd like to use it as a springboard for more projects in the future.
Pretty good weekend. Hope everyone elses was great too.
