Hey everyone
Its been awhile, again, since I've written or shown you some garden pics. Sadly due to the extreme and constant heat the Northwest US is experiencing my garden has been suffering. Its still hanging on but none of the pictures I took came out looking well. I have had a decent harvest through the summer however. Serviceberry bush produced very well and are incredibly delicious. Also had a bunch of strawberries, boysenberries, blackberries and a handful of blueberries. My peppers exploded, most varieties, got numerous yellow squash and onions. Lost all my cabbage to pests but the eggplant and melons are still coming along nicely. Hopefully by fall they will still be doing well.
The flowers in my yard are doing very well too. My wife purposely planted native, drought tolerant pollinator garden. Lots of lilac, lavender, salvia, lupine, penstamen, and of course Sunflower 🌻. Here's a vid of the biggest Sunflower I have ever seen.
Much love
