Hey everyone!!
Seems like its been forever since I have written a proper blog. October to be specific besides the random cute ferret pictures I have been posting. (I can't help it they are just too cute). I like to say that I have been busy this winter and that's why I haven't blogged but that's just not true. The truth is I'm just really not a winter person so even though I have all this free time on my hands there's just hasn't been anything to talk about. I have been settling into my new house this winter and getting everything that I possibly can organized and fixed up. I was just waiting for it to get warmer outside so I can start doing up my backyard. Right now it's just a big pile of mud that I actually went in and started weeding the other day but after I was sinking in the mud about inch and a half I decided I probably should wait. My wife and I have this really nice blue spruce tree we're going to be transplanting here soon if anybody knows a good time to start transplanting trees. I was thinking maybe two or three weeks should be a good time. I just love gardening and I can't wait to, forgive the pun, just start digging into it. We have so much to do in our yard that we're going to have to break it up into stages so this year we're going to do our herb garden and a little grassy area so we can relax. I can't wait to get a nice fire pit and start barbecuing up some good food.
At least I've got the new baby ferret to keep me occupied this winter. He is just so much fun to just sit back and watch play all day. it's like I have another version of TV that's right in front of me. I really need to make a video of my two ferrets playing with each other because it is just hilarious but we'll see how that works out. Here is the most recent picture I took of my not so baby baby ferret sleeping in his cage oh-so ferrety like.
I hope you guys don't get sick of ferret pictures because I never get sick of posting them. I've been really spoiling my fur babies and bought them a 15 foot long tunnel and a ball pit to play in and my god do they love both of them. Like I said maybe I'll do a video at some point if you guys would be interested. My wife has a really cool video of the baby ferret outside playing in the snow that I need to steal from her and post. Maybe I will do that later today.
Been slowly getting back into reading again ans I am currently reading a book by Tad Williams. Its not to bad so far. Still practicing my German everyday even if its for only 15-20 minutes. I am getting better. I bought the first Harry Potter book in German and am.going to attempt to read and understand it. Well suppose thats all for now.
Take care
