It's been 1 month since I started transitioning from ovo-lacto vegetarian to vegan, so I decided to write a small update.
I've stopped eating eggs completely (that was the easy step), however I'm having a little problem with eliminating dairy products. When I cook at home, it's okay. It's just a bit difficult when I eat out and I don't know how the food was cooked or if I can trust the labels, etc...
I've never really liked leather or silk, so I only had to throw away a couple of wool beanies, and most of my makeup and cosmetics were already vegan. My plan is to replace all my non-vegan stuff within a couple of months.
It hasn't been as hard as I thought it would be. My friends and family were very supportive, which is great, and I feel really happy. I've also been eating healthy, exercising, my skin has cleared of acne, I've lost weight and I have lots and lots of energy :D
I think I'm in the right path :)
