spring is almost here and to me this means traveling to see concerts. unfortunately, it means traveling outside of buffalo to see concerts. maybe i will use all of my cash to cover every inch of naked flesh with tattoos. living in buffalo isn't expensive but i have not been able to find a glamorous marketing job or immerse myself in the local culture scenes because there are not any. these are the only reasons i miss nyc. oh, and this city is pretty much dead after 11 pm while manhattan is just waking up. i have yet to go to a restaurant where the food is fantastic. no zagats in buffalo. anyway, i don't want to go back to manhattan. it is like i've outgrown it and, besides, most of my favorite haunts are gone. downtown has been ruined by mini malls and big designer name boutiques. it is lacking in personality. it has lost it soul, spirit. i do have fond memories. i miss all of my friends and i am heartbroken over all of the break ups that occurred like rapid fired at the onset of 2001. now for a few positives... elmwood and allentown are beautiful in the summertime and it is even beautiful covered in fresh fallen snow.
