hope brushing faintly on weathered dreams
at moments when life appears less than it seems
words filling my heart as emotions fill my eyes

i sit empty in rooms , surrounded by life
i walk time as if my life depended on it
i stand fired , bullets open me up to new possibilities
i speak eulogys as if the crowds were dead
i hang my head and shudder
