Keep your friends! It is so easy to get caught up in a relationship where you hear nothing but one person's side of things and then end up apologizing for something you don't have any reason to apologize for. One of the methods of control is isolating you from your friends because it prevents you from seeing the whole picture. It's only when you step back and relate the story to your friends that you recognize that it's never entirely one person's fault. It always takes two to make a problem. Anytime you're made to feel like you should take all the blame, be suspicious. Talk it over with friends who have no ulterior motives except to help. Relationships are partnerships- everyone needs to take responsibility.
