Finals are over, the world is finally again at peace with itself. Kind of. Sort of. In a not-at-all way.
So I've been absolutely bombarded with summer projects with people--somehow I've become something of a go-to guy. I actually like that, though, don't get me wrong. It's nice to know when people want something to get done a particular way...they come looking for you.
Anyway, so I'm supposed to help with an up and coming website with its art and design direction, need to work on a short 20 page comic book for some event, there is a student political group (that focuses on the mass media and its mind controlling evils) that wants me to help contribute material and time, and then I'm also supposed to help flesh out a script then possibly (if it all comes together) start directing/producing/being in the film this summer. Nothing huge, just a mockumentary kind of thing. The first of hopefully many more films to come that we can get the college to pay for
Somewhere in there I'd also like to coninue work on my novel and collection of short stories, but we'll see.
Staying busy is good, but that initial revving up is so painful--I'm a procrastinator at heart. But I have to have a variety of stuff going on at once...even partying gets really dry and boring after a while.
I've even been drawing some lately--a nice outlet I haven't been able to exercise in a long while. Lately I've had this thing with drawing people who just come off as interesting to look at. Mainly eyes and hair, for whatever reason. And boobs are great too. Boobs are one of the funnest things to draw because they sway and mold themselves to whatever context they're in. Its always amazing to see how dynamic a drawing becomes just because of the boobs. Probably why i also prefer live models to pose more exageratedly...of course my style is very exagerated too.
Well this whole update is just a lot of ranting apparently..I'm at work dealing with a hotel full of drunk people. Hope you all are finding yourselves in better situations.

and i'm with you on trying to harness the energy i put into schoolwork for other purposes.
boobs are malleable in real life too (well, duh) but what i mean is i used to be pretty busty but the older i get the flatter i get. i was just telling my sister (a double D, runs in the family) that by the time i'm done having kids i'll have gone from a D to an A - at least thats how it seems
