Hardcore is definitely not for me, but I have to say that the stage presence that Hardcore bands give off is phenomenal. If I could just watch the show on mute.. or just mute the screaming parts... haha.
I went out to the Fear Before the March of Flames show with Shane and Cody tonight at HYAMP. I didn't like them too much, good presence, not good music, but I still had a great time. There was a really good local band from Huntington that wasn't Hardcore that sounded a lot like and reminded me a lot of Social Distortion. I ended up buying their CD.
Oh, and BearVs.Shark - I don't care if you loathe their music, you have to see this band perform. I don't like the music, but their singer has to have the best stage performance known to man. I've never seen a normal looking guy in a plaid shirt that (as Cody puts it), looks like he works at Home Depot, spaz out on stage like that. This man was having seizures I tell you, seizures.
All in all, another wonderful night at lovely HYAMP
