So I saw War of the Worlds. It was really good. The special effects were awesome. The people exploding was a good touch. And of course, Tom Cruise kicked ass. And yes, the ending was a little downtempo from the rest of the movie but the original had the same ending so I guess they wanted that to stay basically the same.

On another note, I got my order from NewEgg.com today. Fast service. I love those guys. I'm just waiting for my GPU cooler from Xoxide.com. My friend gave me an ATi 9800xt that he got from a friend but was having problems with it. The game would just close and give him a video error. I put it in my comp and had similar problems after a while. I discovered it was because the card was heating up like none other so I got a stronger fan for it and hopefully this will work. It's a really good graphix card. Oh well, we'll see...

And now I need to bug out so that I can get some food before I get my eyes checked and go to work. When I return home, though, installation will be happening and I will be quite satisfied. Right after I eat a couple bowls of Frosted Flakes though.
