i don't remember the last time i went clothes shopping... how lame is that? 'course... 5 months of being unemployed will kind of hamper your interest in spending money... go figure. now i've got a job with all sorts of discounts floating around in my face... we'll see if i ever actually KEEP any of the money i make...
i LOVE old buildings... especially libraries... U of Washington (UW) has this incredible old library that was once a gothic cathedral... beautiful stained glass... 3-story vaulted ceiling in the main reading room... i used to go in there, find an obscure aisle, and lay down on the ground and just look up at the glass and listen to all the little sounds that would collect, ricochet, and meander through the anchient space...
remember, Scotty always told the captain that she couldn't hold warp for too long... and we all know that you don't fuck with a Scottish engineer. so, yes, slowing down out of warp is good from time to time...
