Boredom and lonliness make a great combination, don't they? My girlfriend is camping for 2 weeks. The only other female I tend to talk to in person is visiting family in the states until mid-August. My husband and his addiction are on a binge. Second weekend in a row that he litterally sits in his pajamas at the computer all day, only getting up for drinks and BMs.
My kids are more of a job than they are company. Same with my girlfriend's dog, who I'm watching. Yesterday, we did go out to Cambridge for a little while. Struggling to keep kids from pulling things off of store shelves and trying to push a stroller through aisles that barely accomodate my huge ass... Oh... Joy.
I took a re-assessment of my mental-state after the first 6-weeks or whatever of therapy.... Aparently i'm getting worse. lol. I've got a lot to deal with, now that the hubby is back. men do make more work for us. They think that being in the same room as us makes it all better. I can handle the single mom shit. It's the marriage, the adult crap that bothers me. My house is filthy again. I've been working my but off trying to get it to a tolerably tidy state, to no avail.
The smoking-cessation is going well, I think. I can stop whenever I like, but when I start having a panic-attack or become a heinous bitch, the easiest and quickest way to get controll back is to light up. Sometimes I don't even realize that I need a cigarette, but I'll start swearing a lot, start shaking and getting frustrated and angry. I haven't had a cigrette today for instance, but I needed one yesterday. Today, all I have wanted is sleep and snack... another vice of mine. One much more obviously distructive.
Salt & Vinegar chips are the SHIT! What I've really been wanting is brownies or fresh chocolate-chip cookies. A glass of Riesling or Gewurtztraminer with a slice of my home-made cherry cheesecake perhaps. I have had a sweet-tooth from HELL. But it makes sense I guess, being on my period. Usually my friends al get like this too. I don't get PMS or cravings normally, but I've been having them like mad. What's the healthiest thing you can eat/drink to get rid of PMS cravings? Seriously, I'd do near ANYTHING for that recipe.
I hate being horny and having nobody to play with! My husband is... well... is sexually-retarded a term? He knows how to get me off sometimes. But he doesn't know how to get me turned ON. He also has trouble getting himself hard on command... or at all... Role playing is great, but it "takes too much time" or "We have to get up early" or "I don't want to be tired at work"..... WHAT KIND OF A MAN ARE YOU!? Is he just bored of me? Am I un-sexy? Is he just not interested in sex period? I don't get it! And point-in-fact, it makes me really upset.
If there was some way of taking care of the food-cravings problem, the no-sex problem and the nicoteine dependency problem all at the same time, I'd be so happy! Any suggestions? Please!?

I figure now, if I watch the film BEFORE reading a book, I won't be dissapointed in the movie so much as impressed with the novel.
