Non Bitchy Blog! lol
So I picked up a few new movies after payday. Some old favorites and some new fantasy. Pan's Labrynth was the shit. I didn't expect a foreign film (it's all spoken in Espanol and subtitled in English)... But the visuals and music rocked! That and the whole WW2 era is a great setting for just about any film really. lol
Encino Man! I haven't seen it sold on DVD before, so I picked it up in a heartbeat. I almost missed it, but my hubby saw it and snuck it in front of me. I must've giggled like a schoolgirl, 'cause he couldn't stop laughing at my reaction. What can I say, Pauly Shore is a comedic sex-god. On my top ten favorite movies list, Bio-Dome is definately one of them. I know everyone else seemed to hate it, but I can't get enough of the Safety Dance! lmao
Actually, since I mentioned it, I guess my top 10 favorite movies would have to be...
Labyrinth
Serentiy
Princess Bride
Tank Girl
The Crow
Bio-Dome
Rocky Horror Picture Show
Pirates of the Carribean: Curse of the Black Pearl
Return of the King
Tromeo and Juliet
That list is just today's favorites, and not in any real order. They change alot.
I figured it out and about a quarter of all my extra-spending cash goes to music and movies! I may bhave a problem. I'm addicted to meaningless entertainment. lol
I guess I make up for it because I don't have cable or anything. Which is totally a bummer, because there's finally a few shows I'd actually really like to watch on Sci-Fi. Heroes looks absolutely WICKED! I've seen 4 or 5 episodes at my friend Jess's house, and I was hooked. It was one of those shows where you are waiting desperately for the comercial break so you can pee!
I got word on the SG pics I took, and the photoshop chick had a computer crash. She's also got a few other sets she's workin' on. But I'm told she's the best so I guess I'll deal. I really want to shoot more over the summer, but I don't really know what to do until I hear back if my set was accepted. If not I might have to wait 3 months to send another in. But I guess there's no harm in shooting more if I can get a photographer to come out to my area.
More later.
