Frankenstein was playing god when he made his monster. He didnt think out the consequences of his actions and when he finally completed his experiment what does he do? He abandons his creation and leaves it to fend for himself. Why should his creation suffer for his stupidity and fear of the unknown? Not to mention the fact that the monster had a big heart and only wished for a little kindness to be shown towards him, which humans refused to give him and even his own creator showed how much he hated him. He was an unfortunate outcast who chose violence when he had no where else to turn. People believed him a monster therefore he acted like one eventually. In psychology they call that the looking glass self. Dr. Frankenstein should have at least attempted to see what kind of person he made, instead of judging him by appearance (appearance which he himself created) and taking him for a demon! OK. there's part of my argument. hehehee
