an ARG is an 'altered reality game'

its kind of like an deep interactive immersion of puzzle solving, role playing, and fiction using multiple types of media. they have gotten pretty big for advertising movies and products on the web.

in the THX, we were getting messages sen5241 in order to hack into the system and change the pill formulas. was awesome.

the biggest one ive been involved with was the Halo2 release.

screen printing art needs to be given to me in black & white - marker or print out, no painting or pencil. if you had a multi colored design, each color should be on its own page in black. the color is added when i print the shirts. you can create a design in photoshop or what ever on a computer with all the colors and stuff, i just need to be able to color seperate the design - thats why i ask for the design to be broken down into pages, 1 page for each color. then each page is printed out on transparency paper, that paper is then brought to the exposure table where i put the print on a screen. then it gets exposed. i wash it out with water after and then i set up the screen to be printed. so each color is one screen i have to expose. so if it was a 3 color design, i would have 3 screens that i would have to line up on the printing press, then the ink colors are added to each screen, then i print them on a shirt. - i do not print only one shirt, i have to print at least 12 (if its a 1 color design) or more than 12 if its over 1 color. the process takes awhile so i can't do all that work and then just do 1 shirt. that's what transfers are for. - transfers are the stuff you print out in full color then just heat press the paper onto a shirt. the process is quick with no set up time, but its just paper on a shirt. screen printing is embedded into the shirt, and will stay there for the life of the shirt. it won't peel off like transfer paper does.

So I'm considering a trip up to Toronto in a couple of weeks to catch Tegan and Sara at a second show that was just added at The Phoenix Theatre (they sold out pretty quickly at their show in NYC). I fell in love with these girls recently when I saw them on a late night talk show performing their new single Walking With A...

There once was a baby wave and a father wave. And the baby loved being a wave. All day long, he would get as high as he could and try and make the other waves jealous. Some of the other ones were jealous and some weren't. One day, he wasn't a baby anymore. But all day long still, he'd get as high as he could...

idlewild...yeah, i love them. and it's funny because i didn't listen to much of them till i met them. then i sort of buried myself in their music, which actually helped me be strong through a very rough patch last summer. so now i'm friends with really only one of them, but definitely now love their music. they're fucking great.
yeah, i wish i could've gotten really creative last nite, unfortunately it just wasn't there. everything i touched, i'm sure would've been awful.
your birthday huh? well then two good things happen that day don't they?

x
jayne:
yeah, they're all really very nice boys. and that video is beautiful, as is the song. one of their favourites as well if i recall correctly. they are progressing in a really wonderful way, from their first record to their latest, they've made leaps and bounds of improvements. it'll be interesting to see what their next record, that's supposed to be released this summer, will be like. from what i hear, moodier than their last, its hard to tell, but it should be good.
