I found an old love of mine today. Just sitting on the train when you know you have a 35 minute ride ahead of you and just staring out at the world as time goes by. I find this is especially the case when I am on a line that I have not traveled on for a number of years. Its the simple things in life that does it for me sometimes.
Had an awesome catch up with Coral sea. I cannot say how much I appreciate your company lovely lady. You are my rock and keep me sane most of the time. Yummy Vegan Food, plus movie night, plus good company is a failsafe recipe in my book.
Started scratching away with my pen again tonight. I am starting on etching next semester at Art School. I had to do another module to make up enough points for me Bachelors Degree. I already have ideas to do Grey's Anatomy style etchings but of extreme modified people. Kind of a guide to the modified human body. There is some amazing people that I have stumbled across on BME. Most of them admittedly strangers to me but their passion for self fulfillment and happiness through modifying the body inspires me. Not necessarily things I would do myself but still inspiring none the less.
Here is a scratch I did, looks nothing like the original photo, but it does not bother me. Its more a drawing of a modified person rather than someone in particular. Just a quick scratch, ball point pen on cartridge paper. I am happy just to be putting pen back to paper for the time being
