So here is just a sample of the photography i did for my sisters wedding. My uncle shot colour film but got the subjects to pose more so forth. I shot traditional black and white film, but took my photographs whilst my sister was not looking for a more natural approach and to show what really went down on the day, not just a fabricated reality.
I also do the processing myself as well as the final images printed from a manual enlarger and run through the old skool chemicals onto resin based matte paper. I love this process so much as i am the first to see my negatives just before i chuck them into the dryer. I then sleeve the negs and put them on a light table where i wonderously gaze at my negatives through a loupe to check their exposure density and sharpness.
You do not get this kind of intamacy with your work when using digital and even colour film today as all photographers pretty much use outside labs.
On a different note, I gave the tattoo studio a visit today to book a time with an artist. I have a 6 month wait as both artists are just flat out mainly with custom work. I do not mind waiting though, id rather wait and get it done right than go through a second rate artist who can just do it for me on the spot. Not for me, this will be my first tattoo, i am glad i waited, i will be 24 when i get my first one, its been well thought out and i think i have found my style.
But for now here is the pics
