Twenty Five years and counting. Of course, if you'd prefer to get technical about it, then yes, as of this Thursday, April 6, 2006, I will begin living my Twenty-Sixth year of life.

Yeah, you know what? I think probably 25 was the hardest year of getting older, and I'm 37 now.
That was actually the first year of realizing "Oh crap I'm getting older" not necessarily in a good sense.
That was when I noticed my 1/4 inch of a receding hairline which freaked me out.
It just took me by surprise.
The other two big ones, 30 and 35, I already kind of prepared for. So for most of 34 I was already in mind bracing for 35, which at the time seemed a very old age.
Even now I'm thinking in terms of 40 and gettting used to that.
Eh, but it really is just a number. If you're mentally, physically and emotionally in good shape, what difference does it make?

I always have that itch too.. I photograph at nightclubs 4 nights a week or more... ( I am paid to do this... full time) and paint during the day. I'm also curating my own solo exhbit for June 2006... so I could use a little modivation from time to time.. so Im me sometime ... lets try to help one another find inspiration.

Have you ever felt unappreciated? Not necessarily for things like holding a door for someone who doesn't say thank you (although, I occassionally want to smack that person), but I'm talking more about the lack of appreciation shown by people you do things for every day.

I don't mean come out and say "You don't appreciate me. You Suck." Tell her you go out of your way to do things for her, and it makes YOU sad when she doesn't notice.
Careful not to lay blame, or even vaguely seem mad, it'll make her defensive.
At least, that's what I would do, and I have a reasonably good relationship.

my partner in crime does shit like that for me all the time.....it means the world to me....i mean...not like ben and jerrys or anything but when i am sad he has a bottle of jim beam waiting for me.....
You know I am thinking myself what I do to make my lifemate feel appreciated.....now I am paranoid.

and if you feel you are underappreciated you should express your feelings...because if you keep them inside they will explode at an awkward moment....
and we should run into eachother in the food court more often....
