Ahhh, you know I got out and I feel better than last post. Sometimes it is obvious you just need a break. I went and soaked in the springs up North for a day, then I drove down the wonderful California coast all today. I can't believe how rare roads above the crashing ocean are like this...I went to Australia a few years ago and drove up nearly the entire East Coast of the continent and I barely ever saw any actual ocean, because the road was always miles inland and I couldn't spend all day negotiating little roads down to the sea, so I just missed most of it. Not cool. Only near Melbourne is there a proper coastal road, like in California, and it is actually called "The Great Ocean Highway" or some such thing. I love Australia, but they have to get with it about putting a road right on the actual coast!! I mean, we have earthquakes and landslides all the time, and we still manage to have amazing roads all down the coast with awesome vistas!!! Get with it down under, Aussies!!!

I love hot springs. Does anyone out there have suggestions for me? I have been to hotsprings all over North America and Europe, but I there are always more. My favorite are the Liard River Hot Springs in Yukon Territtory, Canada!!
