Do you ever worry about losing your sense of where you came from?
I have gotten old enough that I have begun to grow hazy on some of my earliest memories. I know that my memories are still there, but just not always as accessible as they once were. It is not that I have forgotten anything, but rather that I have so many more memories to sort through to remember anything.
I think of the aspirations I had as a young adult though, and I wonder if I have achieved enough of them. I mean, who ever can achieve all of what they dream of?! However, I am terrified of forgetting those dreams I had. What could be worse than forgetting who you are, what you hoped to be?! Is it inevitable to forget, or inevitable to remember these things?!

I used to live in Santa Cruz, but now I live in Humboldt. I have family in Bonny Doon and would love to go hiking with you the next time I am in Santa Cruz
