damn it's freakin hot outside. but of course i love punishment so i went to the gym today. i haven't been there in a wihile so i went with my mom. never realized how awesome she is. she's been through so much but still manages to get through it. my parents kick ass.
anyway, got on the subject of punk...i love punk music in all its forms, and i don't think anyone is "too old" for it. plus the older you are the truer you are cuz you were there when it started. although like i was saying...punk isn't dead, it's just a corporation now. all these bands are charging 30 bucks or more per ticket, what happened to free shows? i work at a coffee shop where for every band that plays it's only a five dollar cover. and we've had some kick ass shows...though i am a littlle pissed about the walls all being kicked in...heh heh. i'm just ranting though...and don't get me wrong i don't claim to know anything about music, this is just my opinion.
while we're on the subject of ranting...why is the legal age to model on sg 21 in pa? what happened to 18? you can strip legally at that age. oh well...little more than a year to wait i guess.

As far as the corp punk stuff goes do you really blame them? Most of these people came from nothing and they can finally have something. It is easy to say that you wouldn't go corp. if you were them, but hell.
Usually when I find a band I am into, there is research into who has influenced them. Without that I would have missed out on so much.
