I got to see SD when they came through in February, I believe (I live in Kansas City). I was meandering through the middle of the crowd tryin' to get to the front with my girlfriend when they started playing Mainliner I think it was and the pit erupted around me. It made me realize what an wuss I had become in my old age 'cause I was so annoyed with having to fight back and protect my glasses at the same time. I kept thinking about how much money I payed for them and how pissed I would be if I broke them. That's when I realized how punk rock I wasn't anymore. Sorry. Possibly more than you cared to read but there it is anyway.

well i promise you're not old, cuz the fact that you went to see them is awesome in itself. but paying 30 bucks to see a punk band isn't punk at all. what happened to antidisestablishmentarianism? i won't say punk is dead, but it's definitiely a corporation now.
