New year's was good. I spent New Year's Eve at Tattooed Mom's in Philly. I had a good time, but what sucked was walking 15 blocks in the rain to wait two hours for the night owl bus, which kept passing by because it was too full by the time it got to 15th street. And forget getting a cab, waits were five hours!!
I got home at 4am and had to wake up for work, yes work, at 8am. On a typical Monday the coffee shop makes at least $700 a day....we made $32. Yea. So then I was dead tired, went home, took a shower, got all dolled up and went to the Blue Comet in Glenside for the Hangover Ball. I must admit, it was a damn good time as tired as I was...I managed to still be dancing on the table by the end of the night.
Of course I was dancing on the bar at Whiskey Dix on Friday night because I went to see the Man in Black Johnny Cash Tribute. A PBR and a shot of Jack are only 5 bucks, I mean, how could you possibly pass up such a good deal? haha!
I've been working all week trying to save money for my trip to Cali. I still haven't bought my plane ticket. And I have to train someone new for the coffee shop before I can even think about leaving. It's weird though, because it's like 70 degrees in Philly today. I love it! I can't stand the cold.
Oh and just to remind everyone, the Philly Tattoo Convention is Feb. 2-4. Please stop by and show Agaru Tattoo some love!! I'll be making some vintage-look clothing to sell at the show!!!
