Black Trees//Blue Sky
everything seems like a blur lately. with the combination of no sleep and working a lot days seem to pass like the second hand on a watch, not even enough time to embrace every day and what it can give to me. by time the thought of the day is processed by my brain it is time for the next and thus an endless cycle. a "groundhogs day" if you will. very lonely.
ok so i decided weekly im going to give a few things i think people need to check out and why..
band - for the fallen dreams
why? - for being a fan of misery signals for the heaviness and melodic guitar riffs and bury your dead for their breakdowns, what more could you ask for with combining the two? this is where for the fallen dreams comes into view. they have the heavy parts for your bro dude but also the melodies to keep it interesting enough to listen to for an entire album. over all if you are fan of either bury your dead or misery signals check them out.
movie - the king of kong:fist full of quarters
why? - now im not one to be into the whole competitive gaming atmosphere, however this documentary brings new light to it. it doesn't follow the people playing halo 3 or counterstrike, but yet a more simpler form of gaming...donkey kong. well i shouldnt say donkey kong is the only mention within this film (galaga and other are given their dues) however the overall premise for the documentary is to see who carries the world record for donkey kong...doesn't sound very interesting? youtube a few clips and tell me it didn't suck you in, and if it didn't go back to watching your stupid twilight movie.
game - ultimate spiderman
why? - youre spiderman or venom in game set up like grand theft auto, need i say more? yes, yes i do. web slinging around the city saving people, defeating villain or just exploring the game definitely delivers for it's very cheap price(considering its for ps2, gamecube, and regular xbox) but for the $8 i paid for this game it has me hooked more than a new $50 game i could possibly get for my 360.
tv show - heroes
why? - if i need to explain this you are a moron, watch one episode.
alright im done ranting for the night.
