they're in texas now? they used to be from my home state.... i've always loved that car. even before back to the future. did you know that in that movie the original time machine was supposed to be a refrigerator? but they realized that it would be sending a dangerous message to kids.

thanks for the awesome comment on my set. i really did have tons of fun shooting it.

Thanks for the feedback. I was talking to one of his close friends who says he's a really good guy. Never mentioned a lick of him having a girlfriend. We were at a party where everyone was pretty familiar with everyone else so I'm pretty sure somebody would have mentioned something if he did have a girl on the side. I dunno. Expect the worst, hope for the best, right? smile

The fucker did it. He vetoed the stemcell research bill. He claims a deep religeous belief against this (though when he made the inital executive order, he bragged about how he was the first president to allow such research (while actually limiting the research)), though the timing, etc, make it obvious that he's attempting to save the republican majority in congress. Christians who allow themselves...

Haha. Well, having a job that has me dumbly creating drinks as per the barked orders of our customers, I'd be tempted to say I already do the fleshy marionette thing while at work. smile

Don't really like that after you look at a set it attempts to force you to comment on it. Thousands of comments seem like they'd just flood the receiver into uselessness.

Today, congress appears to be on the verge of passing a bill allowing for extended research on embrionic stem cells. In 5.5 years, Dubya has yet to veto any bill. None. He has stated...

I'm not a big fan of that comment box thinger either. About Mr. Bush. I just pretend I have my own special private government that will expire when he is out of office then I'll try out the US government again to see if I like it. I like to distancce myself from anything that this horrid administration has done to the world and it's citizens. He managed to set foreing policy back to the stoneage and now he's working on getting a nice littel WW III thing happening.

What is it about people that makes them think that a spinal chord injury equals a brain injury?

So my parents were in town yesterday. They just got back from England. They went with a couple friends of theirs (husband and wife). The husband is in late stage Parkinsons, and he gets a massage every week to try and relieve some of the pain. The wife arranged for a massage for him while they were there and paid for it with their credit...

i spend enough time with the dog but i don't think she gets enough exercise and doesn't sleep through the night and thus gets into trouble while we are sleeping.
as for the hair my boy took me to a salon and now it looks better then it has in a long time because they taught me how to style it!

Just had my highschool best friend's highschool ex-girlfriend look me up. I'm glad to see her (we were friends back in the day), but it's a little odd. Not sure what she's looking for, esp since she lives in Oregon now. Might just be reliving old times, but lots of water under the bridge in the last 18 years and I haven't seen her since...

The problems we had were mostly infrastructure related. The network admin did not know how to identify the lan card as lan2. I had suspected bad hardware on one of the servers they gave us and the duty manager was insistant that it was our ignite image trying to downgrade the firmware or some crazy shit which makes no sense because ignite won't touch firmware.

So they image the server for us and it's about 2 years behind on patches and we spend 4 hours getting th,e software, storage, and, files we need then we install oracle and it blows up with all kinds of library errors.

They find another hp9000 L class for us and we try our "bad" ignite tape about 1hr later the server is up and running with our company specs. Oracle is installed the storage attached and everything is happy

We had one server that had a corupt passwd file and we couldn't get root. So I had to hack into it and make magic.

That's about it. biggrin

Hello love, thanks for the reply to my grouchy post. Worked too hard 12 hour shifts turning into 14 and 16 hours and my family misses me and then hubby gets grouchy with me too. I understand the whole what to do thing with the girl. Just smile politely and let it go. It hurts sometimes but that's the kicks, I know that too. Been there. Chin up Hero!

Well, just finished moving offices. Not next to the boss anymore. Can't say how happy that makes me.
