Things have calmed down considerably over the past month.
I am glad that summer is approaching, it means more hiking and picnics.

Ninja Fest is an annual event in Iga-Ueno, the birthplace of ninja. They run it for about a month, and on the weekends you can dress up in a ninja costume, play with shuriken, and check out the castle and museums for one flat price (instead of paying all the separate entry fees). I have plenty of pictures, but I haven't uploaded them yet because, um, I'm really lazy
