There seems to be peace among the dogs.
They are not quite friends yet, more like roommates - roommates that are unsure of whether they like each other or not.
After a lovely weekend, the nasty and humid weather is back. Maybe it is for the best. Tomorrow I intend to barricade myself in my a/ced home office and get some of my work done. The road of good intentions...
I cleaned up my act today. I got a haircut from some chatty Syrian guy named Ghassan (he goes by Gus) and shaved off my beard. I still startle myself when I look in the mirror. There was an unpleasant surprise for me behind my beard - there is a small puffy thing dangling under my chin. It's my neck, but it used to not be there. It used to be taut. I guess it is time for a diet and more exercise.
I am planning on going on a detox regimen soon. It sounds unpleasant, but I do believe I am excessively toxified. So I better do it. Maybe it will help get rid of that pseudo-chin under my real one. If it doesn't, it doesn't matter. I am planing on growing my beard back in a few weeks. That will hide it for a while.

Lance Armstrong isn't particularly well liked here, but everyone knew he was going to win and so I don't think his actual winning had much further effect. From anecdotal evidence, there's a general mix of grudging respect for him as an athlete and relief that he's retiring so someone else (i.e., a French person) can win.
Boo for humid weather.
