Ok so since my last blog might have been lacking in the details department, as pointed out by Faye, I got myself banned from the Vinyl Toys group. I find it really silly. I decided to make a thread so I could track the progress I was making on the new Munny I was painting. I wrote a little blurb and in the blurb I said that I wasn't looking for tips or anything that I was just doing it for fun and to try and keep the group alive. I would like to point out that the Vinyl toys group had been inactive(no new posts or anything) for 2weeks. Now I didn't sit there and say the new owner was doing a shitty job with the group or anything like that at all. Although in the past some people have and they are still in the group which kinda makes me chuckle a bit. Anyways I went to sleep, went to work and when I came home last night I noticed that my thread had been edited. It said at the end of it "edited for shit talkery. Lets keep it clean kids." Now I might be extremely dumb or something or it might be that I have used the english language as my primary language for oh I dunno the past 24 years give or take a little while for me to actually learn the language when I was just an infant, but I don't really recall any "shit talking" I then noticed that I had a new message sitting in my inbox. So I checked it like and curious person would. What was waiting for me was my "official" warning. Aparently saying that I might try and keep the group alive is shit talking and worthy of a warning. It might be that or the fact that this person doesn't like me so much after one of her friends tried to make me look like an idiot in my own blog. Crazy kids these days. Anyways back on track. I replied saying "chill. I wasn't taking a shot at anyone's ability to lead a group." Having sent that I decided to go back to my thread and post a little comment something like "define shit talkery" Well that didn't exactly go over very calmly aparently and I was told that I didn't have to "call people out on the internet. Yo." However if you think about it, thats what our very intelligible group owner was doing the entire time anyway. Do as I say, not as I do. So being the fun loving person I am I replied twice over. "Werd Son." and then I asked that the "edited for shit talkery tag to be removed as I clearly wasn't shit talking and didn't care that it got edited anyways I just wanted to go forward with my thread and have fun again. I got a reply to that saying "Done, have fun kiddo" so about half an hour later I decided to check back to see if the other person was holding up their end of things, well to my surprise that lovely little "edited for shit talkery" was still there. So me being the antagonist that I am I concluded that it would be best to leave yet another comment on my thread. "still waiting you to remove that edited for (lack of)shit talkery." Well 2 minutes later I found myself banned. That's the whole story kids. I got banned for starting a thread and trying to actively participate on this lovely website. So yeah um if anyone wants to track the progress I'm making on my new custom by all means check back every so often to my pics folder for the Munny Time Pics. As for my time in the Vinyl Toys group it's all officially over I've been banned and ignored by the owner. Good times.
