i remember when i was a kid, looking out the window and down the canal toward the waterfront... it didn't strike me as odd, that it was called the 'waterfront'. not until i was older. water everywhere. seems kind of ridiculous. i always thought they should call it 'the sunset', or something...or how 'bout 'west'? that just made more sense to me. they say that beneath this cluster of buildings and canals was a huge city...on top of a mountain no less. but before that they say there were cities spread out so far that you could stand between them and see nothing but dirt in every direction. i can hardly imagine what that must have been like...all that room to move. now the only dirt is at the top of the mutual building. i never actually have been up there to see it, but that's just fine as far as i'm concerned. i'm not willing to die over a little clutch of dirt and some potted plants. fuck that. i'm not even sure there's anyone left over there. i haven't heard anything from that way in a while. that flu got quite a few of them the last time.
anyway...i hope you're doing alright and you get this message. if you send a note back with this bird i'll definately get it. you're not eating my birds are you? hehheh. joking.
you know, if you can find a way out here, there's plenty of room. i've still got two floors and a roof top, just me and my birds.
peace.
ps. do you have dreams about being a fish?
