pretty cool week...
wednesday i got my year end review and it was great. got a raise. got a little overtime that day, and then i found a new apt. i wasn't looking to move but i was doing some work at this small 6 unit apt building. the manager happened by and showed me the space. i filled out an app. and called my landlord that night saying i'm moving.
this place is awesome. it's a flat on the top/third floor of an old building. no neighbours on either side. used to be a restuarant so all the units are unusually shaped. it has a view over the water and beachfront access. there is a launch for my jetskis, and this guy i know has a dock two doors down. it's a bigger space, and cheaper than what i have now and has massive amounts of storage. i have a walkin attic that is as big as this apt. there is even a space inside the front door that i can park my motorcycle! fuck yeah. i won't have to pay for my broadband anymore and will get all digital cable service...for free!
oh yeah...and there is a wall of cabinets where you pull down this table and there is a little reach through bar...and i can climb out my kitchen window on a flat roof that's kinda off limits but hidden from view...hubbahubba
i'm so stoked. i'm signing the lease this afternoon. the only downside is i'll be tied to bremerton for another year, but for $525 a month? find me a deal like that in seattle.
i can't wait to have a party this summer.
so...last night i drove the limo again. freaky navy dork people. it's was embarrassing even letting them out of the car in public. highlights include 34yr old ( 44yro lookin) ex waver chick, now navy wive with black prom dress with poofy lace sleeves, massive plunging v-neck, bad tattoo on sternum and severe implant scars. (these actually showed with her dress on).
anyway, the run was 11:30 in the morning sat until 3:30 this morning. rough night. i'm soo tired but i have to do another run in a couple hours. ughh. i got a $200 tip though. so i won't complain.
