Went and hung out with Meg last night. We went t osee autolux @ the natural history museum. They played in the American wildlife room, so there were stuffed caribou and moose and a wolf caught forever mid-howl. And amongst all this was a sea of hipsters. I breastroked throught the crowd, and we took up residence in a good spot near a guy in a wheelchair with a sailor's cap.
I'm just glad I was hip enough to get in without waiting in line
ARRR!!!
There was a fun adventure beforehand where we saw the end of the world as it is taught to children. At some point cardboard gods with electric heads speak their wisdom or wait patiently. To get to them you had to pass through an RV or go around it. It was the most bizarre museum exhibit I have ever seen. robot You know how the first law of museums is 1. Look.
But like Aasimov's rules of robotics (you thought that smiley was off the cuff.
The second rule of Museums is
2. Do not touch!!!
So there was this RV taunting us.
And also it was wierd to image the end of the world is proceeded by a stay in an rv.
Then after we passed the kids' show rangnarok, we went into the rock room, where the rocks held sway over Megan.
The show was cool. The next day we went to Santa Monica. There I got Dune.
hehe.
