Before I go off to school today to take a Geology lab exam, sit in on the boredom of "Uncle Bob" in Geology lecture, and be anxious to go home in Business Communications, I have an announcement to make:
My friend DJ is getting married 1APR06!
He's been dating this girl for the past 2 1/2 months, but he's dated her before for a year and a half. They apparently have a budget of $5K for the wedding (which her parents are gonna pay--tradition), and they have the blessings of both their families. I haven't met her before, but DJ says she'd easily get the seal approval from friends. Congratulations, DJ and Andrea!
Getting married... It's a funny thing, but not scary to me at all. I always wondered when I was gonna get married and start a family myself. Twenty-four to 26 sounds like a good age bracket for me. But first, I need to go back to the Navy so I'll have something to potentionally support a family with.
UPDATE:
I passed my Geology lab exam with a 94! WHOO HOO! No studying, just remembering what rocks are which.
