Been listening to this today. Great band look into them:


I've practically haven't done much at all today, except I did a little bit of dishes, vacuuming, and tub/sink scrubbing earlier. My apartment stays relatively clean, seeing it's only me and I'm more or less a neat freak.

So, I start my second Fall Semester of classes tomorrow at Tarrant County College, South Campus. I'm looking forward to seeing my friend Kylie (who is also in the Dallas Derby Devils roller derby team) at school. She's worried about being "the dyke girl with the tattoos" and being lost on campus, but I assure her she'll do fine. By the way, she's not gay; she's just this tall tatted up girl with a "chelsea" haircut. I love her to death. She's cool beans.

I talked to Jake today and he and his gf Claire (who's in the navy at NAS Whidbey) are looking to move to Cali, if she can get orders there. I empathize with Jake wanting to get the hell out of Oak Harbor, because he was born and raised there. I'll miss him if he goes, or... who knows if I only can get orders to Cali. I want to end up in Washington, though.

I'm just itching to finish up my associate's degree in Business, re-enlist (which I might be getting a re-enlistment bonus ), and get the hell out of Texas already.
