This Halloween seemed kind of lame for some reason, but not really. I guess "ho-hum" is the best description. I mean, it wasn't filled with lots of partying and craziness, but it wasn't just sitting home with mom and dad.
Friday I spent a good part of the afternoon and evening at the skate shop. Chad apparently was going to kick it with this chick he's been kind of talking to. Landry (Chad's cousin who runs the Fort Worth shop), Chad and his chick, and I met up at Chile's for a drink and something to eat. After that, I headed out to Arlington to a party with Whitney and her friends.
Dude! There were some fucking bangin' ass chicks out there. All I can say is: a cop, an angel, a naughty nun, a catwoman, and Whitney was dressed in her old cheeleader uniform. There was also some chick who I thought looked like Gina Gershon and these hot ass black chicks. A good number of the party-goers were friends of Whitney or co-workers. I met her other brother, Eric, who seemed cool. I also met this AT from NAS North Island who was on leave. He does a different side of avionics than I did, but we talked for so long about funny stuff in boot camp, "sea" stories, and whatever. It sucks because I wanted to leave no later than 1am, but I wound up getting home after 4.
I had an hour and half nap before I had to get up and go pour concrete slabs for my grandfather's porch and future storage building. It wasn't that bad (I've done worse), but I was just tired. Luckily, it all got done by 1pm, and we all came in for Grandma's lunch. I really ate too much. I always tend to do so whenever I'm there. After it was all done, Dad and I came home and I wound up going to bed until about 7ish. I didn't want to do anything really, and Whitney was stuck at work until about 2am. So I called it cool and went to bed officially.
Yesterday, I got up, helped my mom clean the house and watched the Cowboy game. Cowboys won! After Whitney got done with whatever, we went to go see "Saw." Go and see it, is all I'm going to say. After that, we went back to her house and hung out all evening long. I wound up passing out on the "chill" couch for a little bit and that's when I decided to go home.
So here I am, actually rather rested and kind of bored, but I know I could be doing some light cleaning or some English homework.
Anyway, sorry I didn't make it out to the SG DFW party; it totally slipped my mind. I look forward to kicking it with whoever's down; just drop me a line.
